Employee focus groups are a positive way for your employees to share their ideas and thoughts around why people join, stay and ultimately leave your organisation. There are many ways focus groups are beneficial for gathering information – whether purely for data gathering, or whether you have some practical solutions to thrown around and get feedback on – before making the investment. Focus groups give vital information to enhance employee retention and engagement. They work extremely well in conjunction with phone interviews as they allow participants to discuss and take retention concepts to the team, while phone interviews are more personal, one on one, and identify important themes. Usually groups are up to 2 hours in length and moderated with up to 10 participants.
